Chicago Soulful House DJ duo Rubb Sound System debuted at number 1 on House Music’s most respected Digital Music outlet Traxsource, with their new album “Rubb Down” on S&S Records. The fully loaded album includes soulful house remixes with global superstars such as Jamie Principle, Steve Silk Hurley, Superfunk, Leon Monroe, SNDSTRMS, Eddie Cuesta, Jameisha Trice, Greg Gibbs, Willy Sanjuan, Dennis Baker, Sharon Pass, Clothed Music & Nick Ahren.
The House Music act consists of Rees Urban & Brian Boncher, collectively producing as Rubb Sound System. These two teamed up to form RSS debuting with their remix for Jamie Principle’s “Baby Wants To Ride” released on S&S Records in early 2014. Fusing Soulful House grooves, chunky drums, and deeper elements they have developed a distinguished sound yet staying true to their Chicago roots. With several releases already out and many more already slated, Rubb Sound System is gaining recognition quickly in the House Music community.
