It’s all eyes on Tupac, once again. On what would have been the late rapper’s 45th birthday, the makers of his upcoming biopic All Eyez on Me have released the film’s trailer.
Billed as “coming soon,” the 60-second clip features narration from Danai Gurira, who plays ‘Pac’s late mother, Afeni Shakur, in the movie. “This ain’t just about you,” she says. “Like all black men, you have a bullseye on your back. They are going to give you the tools you need to destroy yourself.”
Demetrius Shipp Jr. takes the starring role in the picture, appearing throughout the trailer in classic ‘Pac style—standing shirtless in front of adoring fans.
According to IMDB, the film is slated to hit theaters on November 11 and it’s already getting rave reviews. The Game, for instance, said in an Instagram video that it’s so good, it makesNotorious, the 2009 Notorious B.I.G. biopic, look like a “cartoon.”
