An adult and a child were hospitalized this evening after being shot in the Fuller Park neighborhood, officials said.
The shooting occurred at about 9 p.m. on the 300 block of West 42nd Place, said Chicago Fire Department Spokesman Will Knight.
The child was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital and the adult was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, said Knight.
No further details were immediately available.
