A “pedestrian incident” has halted inbound and outbound trains on a stretch of BNSF Metra railway in the Western Suburbs late Sunday night.
About 11:30 p.m., trains between the Lisle and East Naperville stations were stopped for a “pedestrian incident involving a freight train,” according to a Metra alert.
Details surrounding the incident or how long trains would be stopped were not immediately known, according to Metra.
