Boston High School Student Phillip Sossou a gifted and extremely talented artist has done an incredible feat by immortalizing all 411 seniors by drawing a life like portrait of all of them and neatly hanging them in the school hallway.

Ear Hustle 411 takes our hat off to this young man.  It’s not too often that we acknowledge our young people for their accomplishments because the media tends to portray the negativity most of the time.

Phillip Sossou spent four months secretly sketching portraits with charcoal of all 411 seniors at Boston Latin School, capturing every essence and the contours of each of  their faces.

The purpose of him doing the portraits was because the school was split racially, there was division among the white and black students and the black students felt the school officials were slow to react about racial epithets.

Phillip says, “Our class has been kind of divided,” said Sossou, an 18-year-old. “Having these pictures helps us to embrace our diversity.”
