It’s the surest sign yet that Bobbi Kristina Brown is never coming home: her aunt recently cleaned out the comatose 22-year-old’s Georgia townhouse.
The suburban residence where Whitney Houston’s only child was found unresponsive in a bathtub Jan. 31 was emptied by her aunt and co-legal guardian Pat Houston, according to Us Weekly.
The 55-year-old Houston “kept all the pictures and Whitney’s platinum and gold album plaques,” a source told the magazine. “But she threw everything else out.”
Platinum-selling Whitney’s sister-in-law brought everything deemed worth saving back to her home from Bobbi Kristina’s place in Roswell, Ga., Us reported.
Aspiring singer Bobbi Kristina remains comatose at a hospice center in Duluth, Ga., where family members continue a relentlessly grim vigil now in its sixth month.
Brown was the only daughter of the tempestuous marriage between Grammy-winner Houston and R&B bad boy Bobby Brown.
She was found face down in a water-filled bathtub at her home in a scene eerily reminiscent of her chart-topping mother’s 2012 death – in which the drug-addled diva was discovered in a Beverly Hills bathtub.
Family members moved Brown to the hospice June 24 after her condition continued to deteriorate.
“She is in God’s hands now,” said a statement from Pat Houston announcing the move.
The Fulton County district attorney is still conducting a criminal probe into the case, with a lawsuit charging that Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, argued loudly with her before she was found unconscious.
Gordon denied any involvement in the tragedy.
