Cee Lo Green temporarily deleted his Twitter account following a series of controversial messages about rape.

As first reported by Buzzfeed, the “F— You” singer issued a series of tweets Sunday night in which he compared rape to a home invasion and implied that women can only be rape victims if they are conscious.

“When someone brakes on a home there is broken glass,” he wrote. “Where is your plausible proof anyone was raped?”

“Women who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!” he added.

“If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously! so WITH implies consent.”

Green’s tweets occurred two days after he pleaded no contest to slipping ecstasy to a woman in 2012. The former “Voice” judge was accused of secretly giving the drug to a woman while the two were dining together.

Even though Green’s lawyer said that any sexual relations the two had were consensual, she alleged that he spiked her drink and the “next thing” she knew, she woke up naked in her hotel room with him.

The plea allowed Green, 39, to maintain his innocence while not having to serve jail time, and he was sentenced to three years of probation and 360 hours of community service for the felony drug conviction.

A sexual assault charge was not pursued by the prosecution, which cited lack of evidence.

One of his tweets addressed his no contest plea, in which he said, “so if I TRIED but did NOT succeed but the person said I DID then what really happened?”

After issuing the tweets, the singer deleted them, and then deactivated his Twitter account. According to Buzzfeed, he issued an apology of sorts before deleting the account.

Green has reactivated his Twitter account again, but has not yet further commented on his case or the controversy surrounding his tweets.

A rep for Green did not immediately respond to the Daily News’ request for comment.
