Willie Noble (pictured above), 48, is charged with 1st-degree murder, committing a terrorist act, and five counts of aggravated assault after allegedly shooting into a car full of teenagers early Saturday morning, killing 15-year-old Adrian Broadway (pictured above inset) in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Broadway was one of seven teenagers who allegedly drove to Noble’s home and covered his car with leaves, eggs and mayonnaise.
According to witnesses, Noble came outside and fired on the car full of teens as they drove away. One bullet struck Broadway in the head.
She was pronounced dead at Little Rock’s Children Hospital.
Little Rock Police were called to the shooting at the Kum & Go gas station in the 76-hundred block of Baseline Road shortly before 1:00 a.m.
The driver’s side window of the vehicle was shattered and there was a bullet hole observed near the driver’s side door handle.
The driver, 18-year-old Dshone Nelson had minor lacerations to his hands from the broken glass. … The ages of the youth in the vehicle are 18, 17, three 15-year-olds, and a 14-year-old.
Broadway’s shooting death comes on the heels of the murder trial of Michael Dunn, who was found guilty on February 15 of three counts of attempted second-degree murder and one count of hurling a deadly missile after he shot into an SUV full of teenagers, killing 17-year-old Jordan Davis.
A jury deadlocked on whether or not Davis’ death was premeditated, so the first-degree murder charge ended in mistrial.
Florida state special prosecutor Angela Corey has stated that her office will seek to retry Dunn on the first-degree murder charge.
