People still haven’t learned to be careful about what they put on social media. Tony Jefferson of the Arizona Cardinals has some explaining to do after old comments he made on Instagram about dark skinned women have surfaced. In the post, Jefferson asks his friend “do you want that dark ass one in the middle too?” Ex-practice squad player, Brennan Clay, can also be seen commenting “haha the dark bish can go”.
This type of ignorance displayed by these two men is disgusting. To talk down on black women simply for the color of their skin is just sad. The fact that this ignorance is coming from two BLACK men, who aren’t so light themselves, makes this even worse. Brennan Clay has a past with abusing women so this really doesn’t come as a surprise from him. People need to remember that whatever you post on social media is public information. Be careful what you say.
