Many African-Americans were angry that white vendors were allowed to sell merchandise at the 20 year Reunion of the “Million Man March”, “Justice or Else Rally”
They voiced their discontentment and concerns via social media. The rally was set up to bring about economic change, leadership, uniting the black family and bringing empowerment to the African-American communities by keeping black dollars in the community.
Should white vendors and other vendors been able to solicit or exchange goods at an event that speaks strongly about boycotting Christmas while keeping and spending money in the black community. Many are saying this was hypocritical and that there should have only been black vendors at this historic event.
If people felt so strongly about this, why were they making purchases with these vendors?
