“Affluenza” teen Ethan Couch missed meeting with his probation officer this month, and now, police have issued a warrant for his arrest. The Texas teen is infamous for his involvement in the June 2013 DUI crash that killed four people, yet he only received probation as punishment.

The warrant was issued when Texas officials were unable to contact Couch or his mother.

“We have recently learned that for the last several days the juvenile probation officer has been unable to make contact with Ethan or his mother, with whom he’s been residing,” said attorneys Regan Wynn and Scott Brown, according to NY Daily News. “It’s our understanding that the court has issued a directive to apprehend to have Ethan detained because he is out of contact with his probation officer.”

Earlier this month, Couch was seen in a video online watching friends play beer pong, reports NBC Dallas-Fort Worth. Couch appeared to be drinking in the video, which is a breach of his probation, as he is not supposed to drink, drive or do drugs.

Couch was infamously given a lenient sentence after he was convicted of intoxication manslaughter and was sentenced to ten years of probation, though if he is found guilty of violating that probation, he could be sentenced to ten years in jail instead.

During the trial, Couch’s lawyer famously testified that Crouch suffered from “affluenza” and that he was coddled by his parents and lacked a sense of responsibility.
