Canadian-American actor and comedian Jim Carrey, who got his recognition in his reoccurring role on the hit TV series “In Living Colors” has gotten himself in a bit of hot water in the death of his girlfriend Cathriona White.
He has starred in Ace Ventura, Mask, How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Bruce Almighty to name a few and was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a leading role.
Carrey is now headed to court to defend himself in the death of his girlfriend where he is being accused of supplying her with the drugs which allegedly led to her suicide.
According to Viral Thread, After the tragic death of his girlfriend following an overdose, this has led to a troubling period for Carrey. He is currently being sued by Mark Burton, who alleges that Carrey used “his immense wealth and celebrity status to illegally obtain and distribute highly addictive and, in this case deadly, controlled substances.”
Cathriona White’s mother and ex-husband are believed to be suing Carrey for complicity in her death, and it seems that the actor will not avoid court over the claims that he provided alleged prescription drugs used by White to commit suicide.
