A Memphis Tennessee mom and her boyfriend are behind bars Tuesday morning facing charges of aggravated child abuse.
The arrest comes after Katrina Johnson, 21, allegedly stood by as her boyfriend Anthony Gulledge, 30, severely beat her three-year-old son over the weekend for eating his cheesecake.
According to police affidavits, Gulledge dragged the boy by his ankles and beat him.
The boy suffered a broken leg, dislocated spine, and bruised lung.
The toddler was recovering at the hospital Tuesday morning.
According for Fox 13, Gulldedge appeared in court Monday morning and is being held on $200,000 bond.
Johnson is expected to appear in court Tuesday, and is currently being held on $75,000 bond.
