Arlena Labon recently celebrated her 108th birthday in her home in East Cleveland, Ohio. Arlena couldn’t help but laugh when she thinks about the age she has reached. It’s not everyday someone can say that they are celebrating their 108th birthday.
Arlena’s Great Niece had some kind words to say in regards to her Great Aunt’s special day. “She is the most remarkable woman. She’s healthy and has an insatiable appetite. She’s doing well.”
Arlena never had any children of her own but helped many others by fostering about 50 children. She dedicated all her time making sure that all the children she took care for had happy lives. She also made sure they all received an education.
“I gave them what I didn’t get. I was a drop out, but I thank the Lord because I’m doing alright,” she mentioned.
Now in her spare time she watches TV, “the judge shows”, she deemed.
As far as her diet, Arlena eats whatever she wants. With that being said, the only thing she really watches out for is her attitude.
Arlena also had some wise words of wisdom to share with the world herself. “Just love one another, baby. Treat one another good, cause I love everybody and will help everybody that I can. So that’s what we have to do.”
We can all learn from those words of Wisdom one day at a time.
