MillerCoors said that Windell Middlebrooks, the actor known as a pitchman for Miller High Life, has died.

TMZ said he was found unconscious at his home in the San Fernando Valley Monday.  They said Middlebrooks was taken to a hospital where he later died.

“All of us at MillerCoors were tremendously saddened to learn of the sudden passing of our good friend Windell,” said Peter Marino, communications officer for MillerCoors. “He connected with people so naturally because he was one of the kindest, most genuine folks around. We will miss him a great deal and he will always hold a special place with us. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.”

In addition to the Miller commercials, Middlebrooks was also seen on the ABC show “Body of Proof.”   He also had roles in “Parks and Rec,” “Scrubs,” “Cougar Town,” and “The Bernie Mac Show.”
