'I have decided to move on with my life without Mario,' Ramona Singer tweeted Thursday. The couple's marriage had been rocked by Mario's alleged infidelity.

Ramona Singer is officially a single woman.

The “Real Housewives of New York City” star announced Thursday that she is splitting up with her husband Mario after more than 20 years of marriage.

“I have decided to move on with my life without Mario,” the 57-year-old tweeted. “I tried my best to make my marriage work. I am excited for the new chapter in my life.”

Ramona Singer’s husband, Mario, seen with mistress Kasey Dexter on Aug. 2 after the reality star took him back this spring.

Singer’s announcement comes after an eventful week for the reality star. She sparred with Andy Cohen about the status of her marriage during a reunion episode of “Real Housewives of New York City” that aired Tuesday in which she refused to discuss her relationship. (Singer initially filed for divorce from Mario in January, but had since seemed to reconcile with him.)

“Everyone in my family is doing well,” she stated. “Mario and I are together. … Let’s go to someone else.”

“It’s hard when your other half cheats on you, Ramona,” cast member LuAnn de Lesseps told her.

“Don’t even go there,” Singer said angrily. “It’s allegations.”

But it seemed evident that it wasn’t just “allegations” that her husband had been stepping out on her, when In Touch Weekly obtained photos of Mario spending time with his reported mistress Kasey Dexter.

The photographs show them having a meal together, which reportedly took place Aug. 2. in New York. According to the magazine’s source, Singer threw Mario out in late July because “she discovered he was back with his mistress.” It was after the publication of these photos that Singer publicly stated she was moving on from her marriage.

The couple’s personal life has been documented by reality TV cameras since “Real Housewives'” premiere in 2008, and the two even had a vow renewal ceremony two years later, which was filmed for the show.
