Tyler Perry’s Narrated Version Of “The Passion” Brings Many Together To Witness A Modern Day Version Of The Last Days Of Jesus Christ

On Sunday March 21, 2016, the FOX network will air live and in full color “The Passion” a musical of the last days of Jesus Christ narrated by Tyler Perry. Clear on the streets and shores of New Orleans which is the hometown of Tyler Perry, will be the many voices of some of today’s brightest musicians and biggest names in entertainment will be singing praises of faith, love and hope.

The cast consists of Jencarlos Canela (Jesus), Trisha Yearwood (Mary), Seal (Pontius Pilate), Chris Daughtry (Judas) Prince Royce (Peter) and many others and they all bring to life the very essence of the last moments of Jesus Christ as he meets his fate of being crucified on the cross.

This is an amazing way to share one of the most important stories of the bible to include a procession through the streets of New Orleans with locals and visitors carrying an illuminated 20 foot cross to the main stage at Woldenberg Park. This production is added to the the list of the many versions we’ve seen over the years. Well put together and extremely transparent not to mention easy for people to understand and follow.
