Two men stole a truck carrying $60,000 worth of laundry detergent, Orland Park police said in a news release Monday afternoon.

Omar Daraghma, 30, of Justice and Theaier Kartoum, 25, of Burbank were arrested and charged with theft and possession of a stolen motor vehicle, both felonies.

On Saturday, Oak Forest police received a call from a trucking company in Bolingbrook that reported a semitrailer was missing, the release said. Oak Forest police found the truck backed into a loading dock in Orland Park that same day. The men allegedly stole a white 2004 Freightliner truck, registered to a Darien resident, before picking up the semitrailer and driving to the loading dock in Orland Park, police said.

Police said Kartoum and Daraghma, who are being held on $50,000 and $20,000 bail, respectively. The men are next scheduled to appear in Bridgeview courthouse Feb. 14
