EarHustle411 and the writing staff sends prayer for a speedy recovery to Fetty Wap, who was hospitalized after a motorcycle accident on Saturday, September 26th.  Wap a New Jersey native was riding around in his hometown was riding his motorcycle when he collided with another car and was sent airborne.  The accident is still under investigation but Fetty Wap whose government name is Willie Maxwell appeared to be conscious as he was taken away in the ambulance. A motorcycle accident lawyer has been contacted for possible legal consequences.

Authorities say rapper Fetty Wap has been injured in a motorcycle crash in his northern New Jersey hometown.

Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale said the 25-year-old Wap was being treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries after his motorcycle collided with a car Saturday afternoon. Wap’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Fetty’s team released a statement Saturday night, saying:

Fetty Wap was involved in a motorcycle incident earlier today. He was treated at a local hospital and is in stable condition. His family wants to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support.
They ask that you respect their privacy during this time. We will provide an update on his condition as it becomes available.

The crash remains under investigation and no summonses have been issued. The woman driving the car was not injured, and her name has not been released.

Wap, who was born Willie Maxwell, has had a lot of success in the past year with three Top-10 songs, including the hit “Trap Queen,” which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.

His debut album, “Fetty Wap,” was released Friday.
