“The Game & Young Buck reunite for ‘Rolling Stone”

G-Unit stans are grinning from ear to ear as Young Buck and The Game have reunited in the studio for the first time in years. After being released from prison last month following an 18-month prison sentence on felony charges, the Cashville Records signee immediately whipped out the pen and pad for a new record titled “Rolling Stone” featuring Jayceon Taylor, that pays homage to the Temptations classic “Papa Was A Rollin’ Stone.”

Meanwhile, fellow Guerilla Unit member Tony Yayo served up some nostalgia on his Instagram for #ThrowbackThursday with a photo of the rap group in happier times (below). Past tensions haven’t stopped some of the members from forging an epic reunion as The Game even started a petition to reunite Fif and the gang earlier this year.

“G-Unit is an American hip hop group originating from New York City formed by East Coast rappers 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo, Dirty South rapper Young Buck along with West Coast Rapper The Game,” he wrote. “The name of the group is short for Guerilla Unit. They delivered some of the best hip hop songs the world has ever heard, since then the group have collapsed with both The Game & Young Buck no longer part of this once heavyweight group. It’s about time we gave the world what they want, a ‘Reunion’, there is no doubt that if the group reformed they would smash their way to the top again.”

Then in May, Curtis Jackson didn’t reciprocate the warm fuzzies, saying that the G-Unit fellas didn’t appreciate him in an interview. “[I got ] to the point were I was writing their music, helping them with their albums,” he said. “I think that there are certain things you do where you enable people and they feel like you are supposed to do that. This is how we do it versus they appreciate you actually doing it. So I made that mistake also.”

We will wait patiently for that G-unit reunion, watch Young Buck and The Game get it in at the in the studio above.
