CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. —Snow broke down the door of a family’s home in Buffalo on Tuesday night.
Chrissy Gritzke Hazard and her family were upstairs in their North Seine Drive home when they heard a loud noise, WKBW reported.
When they went downstairs, they saw French doors ripped off the wall and a mound of snow spilling onto the floor. No one was injured.
The storm dumped 4 feet of snow in some parts of Buffalo, and snow totals could top 6 feet by later in the day. Another storm is expected Thursday.
The storm is blamed for at least six deaths in New York, New Hampshire and Michigan.
Officials also say they’re concerned about warming temperatures expected this weekend, which could cause flooding.
