Taylor Swift‘s tour has continued to add famous guest stars to its roll-call, but the star hasn’t forgotten the people behind her.
Swift recently donated $50,000 to a GoFundMe account set up for 13-month-old Ayden, the nephew of one her backup dancers (Kim “Toshi” Davidson) on the 1989 World Tour. (The GoFundMe goal was initially set at $20,000.)
“Baby Ayden, I’m lucky enough to perform with your uncle Toshi on tour,” Swift, 25, wrote. “All of us are praying for you and your mama and sending so much love your way. Love, Taylor.”
Toshi posted about Ayden’s initial diagnosis Wednesday…
and also posted about Swift’s donation, writing, “So I get off the plane in Toronto and this is the first thing I see. Swift, he added, “is an angel and my family and I can’t thank her enough… She is such an incredible human being.”

In July, Swift donated $50,000 to a fan battling cancer, causing GoFundMe to raise the limit on donations it accepts. “Taylor Swift’s donation was so generous that it required us to increase the donation limit on the platform,” said Rob Solomon, GoFundMe’s CEO. “What Ms. Swift has done for Naomi and others can inspire the next generation of giving.”
