The show must go on, so it did for Diana Ross, even after a car crash.

Police in Bethlehem, Pa., say the 72-year-old soul icon was slightly injured when an SUV ran a stop sign and crashed into the limo taking her to a performance nearby on Wednesday.

Ross complained of head and neck pain after the crash, was treated at the scene by paramedics and indicated she would seek further treatment on her own after she reaches out to her car accident lawyer. No one else was hurt.

Then the former member of the Supremes went on to her gig, performing as scheduled at the Sands casino complex in Bethlehem later Wednesday.

The Lincoln Town Car she was in was not so resilient: It had to be towed.

Police said Thursday that the SUV driver, a 22-year-old New Jersey woman, received a traffic citation.

Ross posted on Twitter and her Facebook page on Thursday, telling fans not to worry. She is in the midst of her In the Name of Love tour and is set to perform again in Providence, R.I., Thursday night.

“I was involved in a car accident yesterday which according to my boston car accident injuries lawyer, I will be compensated for damages and injuries shortly. I’m going to be a little sore, but it was mostly shocking. I have a very tiny sore bump on my forehead at my hairline. I ask you not to worry. I will see you tonight at the show in Providence,” she wrote, adding smile emoticons.
