The Beyhive is not impressed. Following Beyoncé’s surprise release of her brand-new single, “Formation,” on Saturday, February 6, fans of the singer eagerly awaited Red Lobster’s reaction to her racy shout-out.
“When he f–k me good, I take his ass to Red Lobster,” the 34-year-old singer raps at one point in her beat-driven track.
The restaurant chain replied to Beyoncé’s mention several hours later, with a tame tweet.
‘Cheddar Bey Biscuits’ has a nice ring to it, don’t you think? #Formation @Beyonce,” the Twitter handle wrote, along with a photo of the delectable side dish.
Fans were quick to comment on Red Lobster’s tardy response with a few quips of their own.
