37-year old Ludacris is now a married man after he reportedly proposed and got married on the very same day! The multi-platinum rapper/ actor, whose real name is Christopher Brian Bridges, is now officially (and legally) the husband of his longtime love Eudoxie Mbouguiengue.

According to TMZ, he proposed during the day, took Eudoxie to dinner that evening, went and got the gown his mom had picked out, and by that night – the two were already married.

The news was revealed on both of their Instagram accounts, where they also shared beautiful pictures of the wedding.

He captioned the picture: “Why wait? Did the thing before 2015.” And, he used the hashtag “#mrandmrsrbridges.”

She captioned her pictures: “Great way to go into the new year!”

In the pictures, Eudoxie can be seen wearing a floor-length white dress and holding a small bouquet of white and lavender flowers tied together with a purple and white ribbon. Both look very happy.

Ludacris, an Atlanta native who got his start as a radio DJ, has had a successful career both as an actor and rapper. He has sold millions of records, and has won many Screen Actors Guild awards, Critic’s Choice awards, MTV awards, and three Grammy Awards during his career.

His wife, Eudoxie, a native of the West African country of Gabon, runs a non-profit called Unspoken Angels that aims to support, educate, inspire and empower women of the United States and West Africa.
