Racist Halloween Display Showing A Lynching Removed From Ft. Campbell Home

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – An offensive Halloween display outside of a Fort Campbell home has been removed.

The display appeared to show an African-American family hanging from a tree outside of an on-post residence on Litwin Street.

The child in the display had a knife in its back.

Officials said the resident willingly removed the decorations after being informed of concerns raised by the community.

“appeared to show an African-American family” No it doesn’t! It’s supposed to be a scene from the movie Sinister where a white family is killed with bags on their heads and the dept. of Public Affairs confirmed this. The family who put up the display apologized and said there was absolutely no ill will intended. It’s still an inappropriate display for children but don’t look for hate where there isn’t any.

Yes It DOES appear to be a African American family, if they wanted to display a white family, they shouldve used “white” trash bags!!! Regardless of who did this, it is in “BAD TASTE” and should not have been done! There are “too many tensions between blacks & whites these days to have something like this displayed in your yard on Halloween!

If that’s so, anonymous, why aren’t there 4 bodies and why don’t they have light bags over their heads. THAT’s what’s in the movie.
