EarHustle411 and the writing staff sends our sincerest condolences to rapper/actor Xzibit and his family on the passing of his father who made his transition to glory early Tuesday morning on April 25, 2017.  The rapper announced his father’s death on his Instagram page with the following statement:

“This morning, my father passed away. I am in tears and my heart is heavy. I don’t have the words right now. Dad you are my hero. Thank you for everything you taught me, how you raised me, how you challenged me, how you loved your family. This is tough. I love you Dad. #semperfi

In March, Xzibit who had been taping for his role on the hit tv show Empire, wrapped up and jumped on the next flight out to get to his father who had been ill for quite some time and according to the medical staff at that time he had not been eating for at least the last ten days.

Wrapped last night at 4am from @empirefox, hopped on the first thing smoking, to get to my father. The doctor came in and said he’s stable, but hasn’t had anything to eat in 10 days. Hopefully I can get his spirits up and get him to eat something. I’m just glad I made it here. #familyfirst

We can only imagine what Xzibit is going through, the pain from the loss of a parent is like no other and we pray that God gives him peace where his heart now aches.  May his father rest in power.
