As the danger of liberalism continues to take over the Northeast, dissenters are grower bolder every day.
Last week, two council members in Maine were caught refusing to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance before the meeting.
A citizen who attended the Hampden, Me., council meeting filmed the affront to patriotism and posted it online. Over the past few days, fury has grown throughout the Bangor-area town and officials have been inundated with complaints about the council members’ behavior.
The controversy supposedly began when members disagreed over why they should stand for the pledge: some members believed it was an act to support active combat members, while others believed it was to simply honor the flag.
