Officer Pulls Over Young Black Man Because He Doesn’t Believe He Owns Property In The Neighborhood, The Black Guy Takes Him To His House To Prove It

police house 4

Two black guys were out looking at MLS listing comparing their property they were trying to sell to other homes in the surrounding neighborhood and a cop pulls them over questioning them about why they were in the neighborhood.  The black guy tells him he was in the process of selling his home and was given an offer he didn’t like so he was out comparing other sales to his home.

The cop apparently didn’t believe him because how could two young black men drive a nice car and live in such a lavish neighborhood.  That’s just impossible, right?  How wrong could that officer be?  These are young educated hard-working young men who are very responsible and business savvy.

The guy asked the officer, “Do you want me to take you to the house and of course the officer obliged.  They drove about a mile and pulled up in their 5 bedrooms and  3 bath brick home and invited the cop in which he then refused.

The guys started laughing and the officer then left looking embarrassed.  I guess you can’t drive and live nice while black.

That officer was afraid. His next gesture would be to say they were drug dealers…

Why wasn’t he fired. This is clearly racial discrimination and profiling. I guess white cops all think unless you a rapper athletes or drug dealer you can’t live like that.

Fired? The shoot people and they’re not fired. What makes you think racial profiling would get someone fired.
That being said, this headline is stupid. It doesn’t really say WHY he pulled them over.

        June 22, 2016 at 1:08 AM

He didn’t pull them over, he approached them while they were still in the car. Some white person probably called the police. They always do. You watched the whole video and that’s all you could come up with. Of course you Caucasian. If he pulled them over that’s what the convo would have been about. I know them and the shit is plain as day. Why do you think he left? Reading and listening is fundamental.

What wrong with checking their I. D. Especially if no crime was committed.
        Hmm guilty until proven innocent.
No matter how this plays out, I never heard the officer apologize.
Is that something also a tradition ?

How do you apologize to two men.. clowning you.. black men are far from being gentlemen about any situation.

Actually, since I live in a good area, the cop would not be allowed to enter, since our security forces would stop him at the gate, and demand to check HIS ID…Just to make sure he IS who he says he is.

And, since the cop would be on private property…

and the security forces lawyers live right up the street…

Sometimes, living in a gated community has its perks….heh…

He and other officers are hired by the HOA to work exclusively in the neighborhood, while off regular duty, because of break-ins and vandalism in the neighborhood. They are given a list of names of all of the home owners and their addresses by the HOA, just like a guard at a gate, except here, there is no gate. The names and address on their tag nor the names on their driver’s licenses came back to any home in the neighborhood. The driver did have a criminal history. I’m glad he’s legit now, flipping McMansions instead of stacking yams. Notice the for sale sign at the road when they pull in. I’m pretty sure it’s likely you haven’t taken the time to look up and watch/listen to the officer’s unedited in car video. It gives a different and less dramatic perspective

This is the problem with our society, people like these two men jump to a conclusion without knowing any of the facts or even knowing the officer.

They think just because a white cop stopped and asked them whats going on, they most likely jumped to the conclusion of “this cop is racist.”

Well, the sad truth for these men is that someone in the neighborhood most likely called the 911 about a car parked outside of a house that doesn’t belong. So even though the cop is white, what would happen if the cop was black. Would that still make him racist.

Overall, I have lost a ton of respect for this website. I’ll never visit again!

Ok Jbritt! Did he then start to question you’re intent to be in the neighborhood? Did he then question the legitimacy of your answers? What reason did this officer have to believe these two black guys had no reason being in that neighborhood?

As a white cop I have no problem stopping anyone of any color if they’re in neighborhood checking out houses. If they have legit reason for being there so be it I move on. I’m always amazed how upset people get with me for making sure they belong. And where I work they’re usually white. I would be pissed if cop just drove by my house and neglected to check on people looking at it.

I’ve noticed whenever something doesn’t fit into the realm of rational thinking, people make stuff up to make it fit. At no time during the entire video, did anyone ever mention that someone called the police because someone was sitting in front of their home. Through the cops own admission, he stated “I’ve never seen you in this neighborhood” before. So let’s just work with the facts instead of inventing them.

You just said in essence what the majority, not all, of whites do. They make stuff up to justify or fit a narrative when they know they are wrong. It’s something about that culture that thrives on lies, hypocrisy, and double standards.

maybe, just maybe if black people as a whole would carry themselves with more respect then there wouldn’t be any reason for profiling. instead the black community continues to let the white man hold them down.

Maybe, just maybe, people should judge those on an individual level, instead of saying an entire race (which you obviously know nothing about) acts a certain way. And acting a certain way is not illegal, just different than the culture you’re used to. Thinking an entire race deserves profiling because they lawfully don’t act like you want them to is very wrong, and very bigoted. To assume a person acts a certain way due to their race makes you a prejudice prick

Yes it is unfortunate that white people think that way. Have experienced this same thing with police and teachers in California. When I lived in Los Angeles county I was always pulled over in my Porsche because it had to be a stolen car. When I lived in Irvine I was arrested and spent the night in jail On a made up charge because the cop told me I was a little far from home aren’t you boy. I was not. When living in Del Sur in San Diego my son’s third grade teacher was trying to get a head count on how many children were in her class from the mandatory affordable housing in the neighborhood and told my son who was not raising his hand to raise his hand, to which he replied I don’t live over there. We lived a couple blocks away in a home she could never afford on her salary. People are always trying to make them selves feel better at our expense.

They should tidy up that grass and trim those hedges then they would probably get their asking price. You can’t have a house in the market and not have it looking it’s best if you want the right offer.
