Nick Cannon On His Pending Divorce; “I’m Taking It One Day At A Time”

Nick Cannon opened up about his split from Mariah Carey at the New York City premiere of Addicted on Wednesday night.

“I’m just taking everything one day at a time, and just being the best person that I can possibly be at the end of the day,” Cannon told Extra.

When asked about Carey’s current vocal troubles, Cannon kept things positive. “I just wish her nothing but the best. We’re in contact constantly. You know you might have an off night here and there, but she’s one of the greatest performers and entertainers of our time — she’s not worried, we’re not worried, we’re just going to keep pushing.”

He also shed some light on the much-talked-about removal of the giant “Mariah” tattoo on his back. Watch below.

In other news, anonymous sources are reporting that Carey will file for divorce very soon, possibly even this weekend.
