Violence isn’t just happening in the urban areas it can happen anywhere and wherever that mentality of shoot first and not discuss things like adults. Shooting a person is not going to change the situation, it’s only going to create hurt and heartache not to mention thoughts of retaliation. The latest shooting occurred in the parking lot at a Naperville, IL apartment complex after an argument ensued in the lot. The reason for the argument was not released however one person was shot and hit in the shoulder .

A 22-year-old man was shot early Thursday morning during a fight in a Naperville apartment complex parking lot, Naperville police Cmdr. Jason Arres said.
The incident occurred at about 2 a.m. in the 1400 block of Fairway Drive, when the victim and five of his friends were returning from an evening out and got into a “verbal dispute” with a man who was driving through the complex, Arres said.
The suspect, described as Hispanic and in his 20s, pulled out a gun and fired multiple shots before fleeing in a white SUV, he said.
The shooting victim, a West Chicago resident, was hit in the shoulder. He has been admitted to Edward Hospital in Naperville, Arres said.
It’s not yet known how many shots were fired or what type of gun was used, he said. Police do not believe the incident was gang related.
At least one of the five people involved in the lives in the apartment complex, Arres said. None of them knew the suspect prior to the incident, he said.
