Ward said they used 28 rolls of duct tape and 102 hours to create their prom outfits.

The two Senatobia High graduates said their prom outfits were so unique they made the Top 10 of the StuckAtProm.comcontest. They are in the running to win $10,000 each and $5,000 for Senatobia High.

Ward said they were inspired to create their prom outfits “from figure skating and antique skeleton keys.” They used black-, electric blue- and gold-colored duct tape to create their prom outfits.

“The swirls figure skaters make are portrayed by the curling of the skirt and earrings with a little wire and the design on the heel of the shoe,” Ward said. “We captured the intricate designs on antique skeleton keys with the cut-by-hand designs on the dress, vest, and shoes.”

Ward and Patton are hoping to win the grand prize. You can vote online for them or for your favorite prom design at StuckAtProm.com between June 10 through July 8.
