Is Teddy Riley broke?  Why wait all these years to bring up a lawsuit?  Has he fallen on hard times or is he deserving of what’s his?

Several months ago Teddy Riley was suing his daughter Taja claiming co-writing credit and partial ownership for the 2009 Lady Gaga hit, “Teeth,” a song he actually wrote with Gaga and her team. Riley said his daughter lied about having co-written the song and should not have been given a publishing deal from EMI from his creation.

Teddy Riley is suing Lady Gaga …over the same song. According to the lawsuit, Riley said he was promised 25 percent of the writing credit fees from the song  but as of yet he has not seen one penny.

Per TMZ, Riley now feels betrayed by the Queen Monster and isn’t going down without a fight. He’s suing her for $500,000 and punitive damages.

Teddy Riley is a producer extraordinaire when it comes to his production work in the music industry. He has worked with everyone, including the late, great Michael Jackson. If anyone knows about contracts, fees, and payments, it would be him so it’ll be interesting to see what happens with this case.
