June has yet to begin and for me it started out on a sad note as we lost Lee Chamberlin a very talented actress who got her start on the PBS children’s show Electric Company and today would be the 77th birthday of her co-star Mr. Morgan “Easy Reader” Freeman.
Having gotten his start at an early age, Morgan Freeman has most certainly blazed a trail for other actors to follow. Aside of the children’s programs Mr. Freeman can be seen in blockbuster movies like Driving Miss Daisy, Shawshank Redemption, Batman and many more. Morgan Freeman also has a funny bone and although he was not the first actor to play God, he was definitely the funniest that I’ve seen on the big screen. Nothing and no one compares to his distinctive voice that can be heard on several projects and commercials with my all-time favorite narration “Gospel at “Colonus”.
While I could go on and on about Morgan Freeman and his career and the many accolades he has earned, he has earned himself a spot on every award show. Earhustle411 sends our birthday wishes and blessings to none other than, Easy Reader, Mel Mounds the DJ and voiceover extraordinaire Morgan Freeman.
