Earhustle411 had the pleasure last night to be in a room full of talented people. In a secret location Grammy award-winning producers Jeff Bhasker and Mark Ronson listened to some singers from Chicago to possibly be apart of an upcoming music project.
Some of the Chicago hopefuls was J-Lyn, Jameisha Trice and Russoul. Chicago rapper Rhymes Fest was also in the building to present a young lady who graduated from “Donda West Foundation” which is a program made to build young artist in honor of Kanye West Mother.
Jeff and Mark project took them from New Orleans to Chicago looking for the next great American singer. Their journey is called the Mississippi Mission and they visited places such as churches and bars looking their special singer. They also are creating a documentary about their search. Jeff Bhasker born in Kansas is a record producer, songwriter, keyboardist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist. He won a Grammy for his collaboration with Kanye And Jay Z on the album ” 808s & Heartbreaks” and “Watch The Throne”. Jeff also won Grammy Awards for the songs “Run This Town”, “All The Lights” and “We Are Young”.
Mark Ronson born in the UK is a producer, DJ and multi-platinum artist who worked with artist such as Amy Winehouse, Sean Paul, Tweet, Nate Dogg, Ghostface Killah and more. His album “Version” went 2 times platinum in the UK.
