He has an assistant bathe him every morning. He goes through cars and watches like his opponents go through smelling salts. And he doesn’t bring luggage on his private jet because, well, he just buys what he needs when he gets there.

No doubt, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is one of the most colorful, and obnoxious, characters on Instagram. His ostentatious, in-your-face lifestyle is the kind of thing that would make the Omaha-living, Caddy-driving Warren Buffet cringe.

At least, in theory.

But that didn’t seem to be the case when the investing legend showed up at a Las Vegas gym on Tuesday to spend some time with “Money” Mayweather, the 46-0 world champion across five divisions.

Buffett didn’t have much to say about the visit, but, surprise, Mayweather did.

“We talked about how we could turn a $100 million of my assets to $1 billion”, he wrote on Instagram, adding that “he’s just one of my billionaire buddies.”
