Floyd Mayweather gave an interview to Hollywood Unlocked this week in which he referred to Trump’s infamous “grab them by the p—y” comments as how a “real man” talks.

“People don’t like the truth,” Mayweather told Hollywood Unlocked. “He speak like a real man spoke.”

The undefeated boxer, fresh off a knockout victory over Conor McGregor in the much-hyped mega-fight, essentially parroted Trump’s own defense of the leaked comments, which he called “locker-room talk.” Mayweather even used the same phrase.

“Real men speak like, ‘Man, she had a fat ass. You see her ass? I had to squeeze her ass. I had to grab that fat ass.’ Right?” Mayweather said. “So he talking locker-room talk. Locker-room talk. ‘I’m the man, you know what I’m saying? You know who I am. Yeah, I grabbed her by the p—y. And?’ ”

A number of athletes condemned Trump’s comments after the tape of him speaking to Billy Bush became public, seeming particularly peeved by the then-Republican candidate’s implication men in locker rooms speak candidly and approvingly of sexual assault.

It appears, however, Mayweather, who has multiple convictions of violence against women, disagrees with his fellow athletes. He is suggesting, at least in his locker room, such comments are commonplace and “real.”

“I feel people shy away from realness,” he said. “[Trump] didn’t do nothing. Listen, if y’all didn’t want the man in the White House, y’all should have voted.

Mayweather met with Trump & Co. in Manhattan shortly after the election and reportedly attended the inauguration in January.

For his part, Trump has appeared at a number of Mayweather’s bouts, including his 2015 fight against Manny Pacquiao.

Mayweather also claims to have a direct line to Trump, which he presumably uses to exchange “real man” talk with the president when the world shies away from their realness.
