Photographers whether professional or amateur often capture shots of some of the funniest things that turn out to the best photo they may have ever taken in their careers. On this episode of EarHustle411 Funny Bone, we came across a photo a Florida man named Richard Jones while with his family were taking a leisurely stroll through Ocala National Forrest on Sunday, June 14, 2015 when he wanted to take a better photo of some alligators he saw laying “in the cut”. Funny thing though, when he made a move to get the shot he spooked a snoozing raccoon and the little furry creature hopped on the back of the alligator.
Richard who was already prepared to capture photos quickly snapped the photo and the result is as you see it below:
“I snapped a lucky picture right when the gator slipped into the water and before the raccoon jumped off and scurried away.”
“Without the context you’d think the raccoon was hitching a ride across the river. Pretty amazing,” he told the station in an email. “Definitely the photo of a lifetime.” ~ Richard Jones (email to WFTV)
Well, the raccoon appears to be quite comfortable riding the alligator’s back but EarHustle411 won’t be getting that close to any alligators unless they are in the form of a purse or shoes…LOL!!!
Shouts out to Richard Jones of Florida…GREAT PHOTO!!!
