EarHustle411 was given the opportunity to witness history in the making as we were invited out on November 21, 2015 to cover Chicago’s very own Hot Mix 5 House Party, held at the Concord Music Hall.  While the atmosphere outside was chilly, EarHustle411’s awesome intern Martrise “Nikal Slik” Hall was in  HOT company with the party goers and Hot Mix 5 fans. Most definitely the place to be on the season’s first cold night.  VIP party goers were treated to fabulous stellar treatment of good eats, drinks and an unlimited amount of fun, music as well as reconnecting with friends.

Hitting the wheels of steel with the infamous Hot Mix 5 were Mickey ‘Mixin’ Oliver, Kenny ‘Jammin’ Jason, Farley ‘Jackmaster’ Funk, Julian ‘Jumpin’ Perez and Scott ‘Smokin’ Silz. With this amazing event hosted by Tim ‘Spinnin’ Schommer and 5 Magazine’s Czarina Mirani.  Everyone did a phenomenal job and welcomed EarHustle411 in the Hot Mix 5 family.

Music was bumpin’ and the folks were jumpin’ having a great time, loving the scene.  EarHustle411 was getting it in right along with the fans.  House music is the only genre of music where people come out and support the culture and get lost in its sound, no fights, violence or egos.  Just music and more music.  We’ve covered many House events from the House Dance Party 1, 2 & 3 to the Chosen Few Picnic and each and every time we have a BLAST.  It’s like a never-ending reunion of Househeads.

EarHustle411 thanks Scott Smokin’ Silz for the opportunity to yet again experience history and giving us an all access pass and VIP treatment to this wonderful event, Tip Top Entertainment for putting on a fantastic event, all of the House music fans for their cooperation as we gathered footage and last but certainly not least the remaining members of the Hot Mix 5.  You all have a true and amazing talent and knack for your chosen professions, Thank you for the unforgettable experience.
