Dayum!! Does anyone in Hollywierd (oops)…Hollywood stay married?  After nearly 22 years of marriage and 27 years as a power couple actress Tisha Campbell-Martin makes an announcement on Twitter that she has filed for divorce from her hunk of a husband Duane Martin.  This couple is one whom everyone thought would break the cycle of Hollywood divorces.

After 27 years of being together and 2 amazing children, it pains me to announce that I’ve filed for divorce. It’s an emotional time and I graciously ask for privacy for me, our children and the rest of our family.” @DUANEMARTIN_ said to me Best this morn “we are family FOREVER”

EarHustle411 is slightly perplexed as to why she would post the demise of her union on social media and then ask for privacy about the situation. Well from the outside looking in, the pair looked seemingly happy.  It wasn’t too long ago Campbell-Martin said she and Duane were in “sexy phase” with their relationship as she discussed on the TV shoe “It’s Not YOU, It’s MEN” take a look:

Tisha Campbell-Martin who’s been in the entertainment industry since age 6 and Duane Martin since the early 90s both have several television and movie credits to their name were married in 1996 and have two darling sons named Xen and Ezekiel as a result of their union.

Clearly, its unfortunate and sad whenever any married couple makes the decision to call it quits, especially when their are children involved. It does not matter if they are celebrities or not, a breakup is a breakup.  We guess sometimes people just simply “drift” apart and haven’t found a better path to fine their way back to each other. Regardless to what the situation is and the reasoning for the split, we wish them both the very best and pray that they will be able to co-parent their children with minimal to no problems.
