OMGEE!! I knew it was only going to be a matter of time before the news of charging the daughter in this despicable and senseless crime.  The reported facts in this case have been truly bizarre from the very beginning.  One would have to be extremely sick and demented to kill their parent or just turn their head while some other sick and twisted in the head person does it. 

I am sure this story tears at the heartstrings of every mother because as a parent most of us take the best non paying job seriously.  I don’t doubt that this mother raised her daughter on the right side of fence. I am also sure that as this story continues to unfold, we will all be in utter amazement.

The teenage daughter of a veteran United Airlines Flight Attendant whose body was discovered in the trunk of her car in Gary now stands charged with her murder, reports WBBm’s Kimberly Easton.

Gary Police say Alyssa Barrett, 17, is now charged with the murder and robbery of her mother.

Barrett and her boyfriend, 18-year-old Damarius Rashard Wren, are accused in the brutal murder of DeCarol Deloney-Cain.

According to the criminal complaint, Deloney-Cain was beaten and repeatedly stabbed and then her hands and feet were tied with duct tape. Her body was wrapped in trash bags and stuffed in the trunk of her own car.

Investigators say the two plotted to kill Deloney-Cain because she wanted her daughter to have an abortion.

Barrett and her boyfriend, who is also charged with robbery and murder, are being detained without bond.
