Chicago-  Ear Hustle 411 was extremely delighted when given the honor of covering one of the funniest independent films produced and directed in Chicago, by none other than Jay Davis the creator of “Not Another Zombie Movie” at the exclusive Patio Theater.

When it comes to action, thriller and comedy Jay Davis is the man you need to see.  Ear Hustle 411 was excited to interview this young Icon in the making and talking about his independent film.

We were definitely blown away by the intricate details and all the actors who worked on his film that gave it complete justice.  The set up was incredible the theater was just right and the audience was simply marvelous.  They were in awe by the whole concept of this amazing film.  Ear Hustle 411 gives this movie a big thumbs up.  Check out what Jay Davis had to say about his film in his live interview below.

This film took us by surprise because we weren’t ready!!!  We were not ready for the belly wrenching laughs or the scenes that kept us in tune with each character.  Chicago we laughed from beginning to the end at the premier of this outstanding film.  Jay Davis is a natural;  he not only wrote produced and directed this awesome film but he also stared in the film as well and what a great job he did.

Jay took a creative idea and turned it into a marketing concept that is sure to win over investors and major film studios.  We believe this film will do great on the big screens all over the country.

When a person of this caliber immerses themselves in a project of this magnitude, they take creative control over the quality of the product and the production and we must say the production was phenomenal.

Jay Davis and his team had over 250 people come out to audition for his film which made his job even more difficult.  The selection process was daunting and exhilarating at the same time says Davis.  Jay had to secure locations, obtain permits,  personal funding, make sure his staff was on time, lighting and sound crew were on point as well as a professional camera crew and still found the time to secure a role for himself in this film.

“Not Another Zombie movie” was not your typical zombie movie with just blood, gore and stiff faces, This action comedy was hilarious.

Generally, a producer finds ready to shoot scripts that could be taken right to the studio and on most occasions have to go through clearance to obtain rights of the material before they could even proceed in making a film but not Jay Davis; this incredible young talent wrote this script himself which shows that he is not only talented but dedicated to his projects and his craft.

Ear Hustle 411 will not give away any scenes because we strongly encourage you to go see this film.  We promise you once you see this film, it will be a moment  that you will never forget.
