CHICAGO (CBS) – Police were responding to an apparent shooting Thursday morning at a high-rise office building in the Loop.
Police were on the scene of an apparent shooting at 231 S. LaSalle St., which is the Bank of America Building. The Chicago Tribune reported one person was killed, and one person was wounded.
A Fire Department spokesperson confirmed one person was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Officers at the scene taped off LaSalle between Quincy and Jackson, and at least one ambulance was seen leaving the scene.
