Proud father David Askew is beyond livid when he stumbled across a box full of hidden letters addressed to his son from various colleges who showed a huge interest in his son playing college football with several colleges and universities.

The box of letters could have led to the possibility of  full scholarships which were  hidden in the Football coaches office.  David went to the school to check up on his son and have open dialog with his teachers as most parents should do and upon entering the coaches office he discovers his son’s coach really didn’t have his son’s best interest at heart.

David’s son, and other African-American high school football players, allegedly had their college Letters of Intent “hidden” by coaches and without those letters, the boys had no knowledge that any Colleges were interested in having them apply to their programs.

When he went through the box he was shocked to see that his son was sent a ton of  letters from some very prominent universities such as Kentucky, Notre Dame, Rutgers, Arkansas State, Virginia Tech, Duke, Purdue and Wisconsin just to name a few.

Aliquippa High School in Beaver County, Pennsylvania is full of talented and ambitious students past and present.  Many of the previous football stars may have suffered the same fate and have gone on without ever having an opportunity to obtain a college degree due to someone else’s bitterness and selfishness.

David ask that instead of doing an Ice Bucket Challenge, He poses the “Let’s Get Our Kids To College Challenge”
