A Bully Was Been Silenced With “The Good Book” 2 Kids Gave Him

PASADENA, Texas – In the Walwyn home, everyone owns a Bible.

Dad, Vaughaligan, preaches at CT Legacy Church. Mom, Kyla, teaches too. However, it is the children, Phoenix, 8, and Kingston, 7, who used the gospel to topple a bully.

“I don’t know, maybe (the bully) started to read the Bible at his house and found the scripture about it,” Phoenix Walwyn said.

Three months ago, Phoenix and Kingston started riding the bus home from Pasadena’s Turner Elementary School. Another kid on the bus called them names every day.

“It made me feel like I wanted to yell at him,” Phoenix Walwyn said.

“I wanted to say (something) back to him,” Kingston Walwyn said.

Instead, they told their mom. She met with administrators. The principal met with the boy involved and ordered assigned seats on the bus to be changed, a district spokesperson said.

Things calmed for several weeks. Then, the name-calling continued.

“I sat back and was like, I don’t want to have to take my shirt off and meet (the bully) at the bus stop, you know what I mean,” Vaughaliagan Walwyn said. “So, I prayed about it and God said, you know what, let’s get this kid a Bible. Tell him Jesus loves him and invite him to church and see what happens.”

“We gave it to (the bully) and two minutes later when it was almost his stop to get off, he just said thank you and (I’m) sorry for all the bad stuff (I) did to you,” Phoenix Walwyn said.

Since that day, there has been no more name-calling, according to the Walwyn children.

“I was like, really,” Vaughaligan Walwyn said. “So, that kind of caught me off guard that it worked that fast or the kid was convicted.”

Whatever the case, the story is getting positive feedback on Facebook. The Walwyn kids are happy too. They’re also loving their Bibles more than ever.
