R. Kelly is covering the funeral costs of two young brothers who died in a fire in Kankakee, Illinois.

After hearing about the tragic loss of 4-year-old Justice Stewart and 2-year-old Ju’shaun Watson, R. Kelly donated $5,000 to help fund the funeral services for the two brothers, who died after being injured in a fire on April 13.

Justice Stewart, 4, and 2-year-old Ju’shaun Watson.

“It’s part of the foundation’s mission to help people in need, uplift their spirits and make the world a better place,” Kelly’s lawyer, Linda Mensch, said. “He was so heartbroken to hear about that fire.”

Kelly heard about the tragedy from his tour manager, Kevin Gyles, who grew up in Kankakee.

“He just said to take care of the funeral costs,” Gyles said. “He does all his charity work from the heart.”
